Archimaine use GFLSDK as a part of his industrial processing software (Topas Processing) running on his new grid application MAE. GFLSDK provide an easy-to-use API to build powerful image processing application. This library includes read/write operations for many image formats with a large number of processing functions and options. Furthermore, image bitmap access is very simple and one can easily mix its own image algorithm for more complex processing. Finally, we really appreciate the fast support thru the forum and the wiki. Many thanks to P. E. Gougelet, we appreciate his professionalism.

The GFL SDK image is an excellent library. If you are looking for a library for loading and saving a great variety of formats on many plateforms, it's simply the best. The library is well designed, easy to integrate into any product and is really quick. The support is also impressive. All request or new feature wish were done is a really short time.

We have recently licensed the latest GFL SDK to use in our entire product line. Our decsion was based on the experience of Mr. Maher Khatib, and his collaboration efforts with Mr. Pierre Gougelet, in using the SDK in Xstoner (www.xstoner.com), a product that our company had recently acquired. Be it in Xstoner or the rest of our products, that deal with several image formats and require fast inter-format conversion reaching real-time speeds for up to HD and 2K film-scan resolutions, the GFL SDK served us very well. With the diligent and prompt support of Pierre, working closely with Maher, we were able to achieve excellent speed and flexibility in handling different format conversions that allowed us to offer several value-add features for our end users.
In short, the work done in the core conversion engine of the SDK and the superb support of Pierre proved to be invaluable for us. And while the XnView and Nconvert tools have won several awards, the GFL SDK deserves a serious consideration by any software development house that requires a versatile and solid image format handling/conversion engine for its end products.

We used an old library and searched a new lib which was easy and quickly to implement. GFL allows many formats, has a good SDK, receives great support and is priced incomparable to other graphical libraries.

Soft Experience uses GFL SDK for its Kalimages product, data base software and manager of IPTC/IIM fields of digital images. We retained GFL SDK for its simplicity of implementation, the large variety of the recognized formats of images, and its moderate price ;-)

What justified the choice of GflSDK, its great interoperability with technologies which we use: C++, ActiveX, and especially the facility with which this interoperability can be implemented. Another point and not of least, no bug found...

We were most interested in the Windows metafile conversion to a standard
bitmap format for one of our tools. Finding GFL SDK saved us from having to
invest our own time and effort into developing this conversion method. And
it's nice to know that if we encounter any of the other dozens of formats
that GFL support, we will be ready.
